Basketball Camps

Every week of the summer, we run our Youth Camp, our Teen Camp, as well as one of the specialty camps listed below. Read through the descriptions to find the camp that's the best fit. Tip: if you are a parent and unsure which camp would be best for your child, read through the descriptions with your child. Often, they'll be the best judge of which camp they'll enjoy most!

Youth Camp

This EABA pre-season training camp is designed for EABA athletes only.

Youth Camp

(Ages 9-13)

Weeks offered: every week of the summer

Our Youth Camp allows young athletes to benefit from the instruction of skilled college/university and pro-level basketball players, where they are taught basketball and life skills and play games suited to their age and skill level. Whether your athlete is a beginner or advanced player, Elite Camps will challenge them to improve their basketball skills in a FUN learning environment.

Required Skill Level:  Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Ability to handle a full day of FUN basketball programming.

Teen Camp

(Ages 13-17)

Weeks offered: every week of the summer

Our Teen Camp is an intense and competitive basketball training program. The camp is designed for athletes who have a high level of interest in basketball and want to take their game to the next level. Our camps are led by former or current university/college or pro players, who use exciting drills to emphasize fundamentals, maximize training, and challenge athletes mentally and physically.

Required Skill Level:  Intermediate to Advanced – Come ready to play and train hard!

Ball Handling Camp

(Ages 9-13)

Weeks offered: Week 4, July 21-27

Ball Handling camp will teach participants the ball handling and dribbling skills, drills, and techniques they need to master and navigate the court with complete confidence. The camp offers a creative and exciting curriculum that will teach the athletes how to cross-over defenders, develop their handle, and continue to train on their own. The curriculum focuses on individual skill development in ball handling & dribbling, provides a competitive environment, and progresses from individual moves to drives and team aspects of penetration and kick.

Shooting Camp

(Ages 9-13)

Weeks offered: Week 5, July 28-Aug 3

Shooting Camp is a progression-based program that will teach athletes how they can work to become a remarkable shooter.

Repetition = Success. 5,000+ shots weekly to improve

Required Skill Level:  Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced

HIGH PERFORMANCE CAMP

(Ages 11-13, 14-17)

Weeks offered: Week 1 (Ages 11-13 Only) - Jun 30-Jul 6; Week 7 - Aug 11-17

High Performance Camp is a camp designed for rep and AAU players who want a week of high level training. Campers will be progressed through intense, detail-oriented skill sessions with a focus on quality and quantity of repetitions, they will compete against each other in all aspects of basketball programming, and they will participate in strength and conditioning programming. Campers will also benefit from talks and training sessions run by guest speakers that coach at the university and college level in Canada. These sessions are an opportunity to learn from some of the very best coaches in the country. The goal of this camp is to give athletes a sense of what is required to be successful at the next level, and to give them the tools they need to increase the intensity and quality of their own training regimen once they leave camp.

Girls Only Camp

(Ages 9-13)

Weeks offered: Week 2 - Jul 7-13; Week 3 - Aug 14-20; Week 6 - Aug 4-10; Week 8, August 18-24

is an all girls basketball camp that allows girls to benefit from the instruction of female college/university and pro-level players. The instructors provide the inspiration and training that girls need to excel. The unique girls-only camper atmosphere allows girls to be surrounded by other female athletes with similar goals and aspirations.

*Please note that male campers will still be on-site, but all basketball sessions will be girls only.*

Required Skill Level:  Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Ability to handle a full day of FUN basketball programming.

MINI CAMP

(Ages 8-12)

Weeks offered: Week 9, Aug 28-31

Mini Camp is a 4 day, 3 night program designed to introduce campers to the overnight basketball camp experience. Campers will be progressed through FUN age-appropriate skills and drills, play in 5-on-5 and 3-on-3 games, and enjoy all the FUN water and land activities that our camp has to offer.

Is my child ready? In our experience, a child is ready to try overnight camp when they have been able to spend a night away from their family without the need to call home. Sleepovers at a friend's house are always the best test. If they can do that, they're ready to try out overnight camp!

EABA CAMP

(EABA Athletes Only)

Weeks offered: Week 9, Aug 25-28

This EABA pre-season training camp is designed for EABA athletes only. It is held the week before school starts and is designed to get the athletes back in shape for their school teams. It is a rigorous camp, where certified fitness trainers come in and put the athletes through cardio and strength training sessions (without weights). The athletes will also be exposed to our amazing Elite Camps staff and run through the drills and skills they need to jump-start their school year.
